Carlo Colpaert has signed up to participate in the Dam tot Damloop Dam 2023 and created an action page at https://supporta.cc/c8ww/x75uli.
You can sponsor Carlo by going to this link.

Carlo has personal reasons for participating. Read his motivation:

β€œAnyone who knows me knows that I have visual impairment. A hereditary optic nerve disorder (ADOA). Even though I remain positive and active, it does hinder and influence my and all carriers' daily lives. Not recognizing people. Not being able to read books, newspapers and magazines without special equipment. Not allowed to drive a car, dependent on public transport, limited career choice, to name a few.
It is not very common, which is why very little research is being done into it. The ADOA foundation wants to change this and is very active in doing so. That's why I'm running the Dam tot Damloop on Sunday September 17. (the 10 English miles from Amsterdam to Zaandam). Will you help get ADOA out of the world? Your donation will be spent entirely on research. Thank you very much for your gift, every euro counts.”

The Cure ADOA Foundation wishes Carlo the best of luck during the Dam tot Damloop 2023!
