Cure ADOA Foundation Supports Stanford Medicine Research with $100.000!

A photo of a child shooting a confetti cannon. At the top of the image is the text "Cure ADOA Foundation supports Stanford Medicine with:," followed by the amount, which is "$100.000," and then "thanks to you!"

ADOA-plus is a rare, hereditary disease. Currently, there is no treatment for it. Therefore, research is urgently needed. This, of course, costs money. The Cure ADOA Foundation is therefore working hard to raise awareness of ADOA-plus and to raise funds for scientific research.

We don't do this alone. We do this together with you. Everyone who talks to each other about ADOA, follows us on social media, and shares our content, and of course, all the top people who actively organize fundraising campaigns. Think, for example, of everyone who got sponsored at sporting events, set up deposit refund campaigns, or sold their own items for the foundation.

100% of the funds raised will go to ADOA(-plus) research. In this case, Stanford Medicine, where Dr. Jeffrey Goldberg and Dr. Joyce Liao are conducting groundbreaking research on optic nerve regeneration.

πŸ§‘β€πŸ”¬ β€œIt’s still early days, but we believe the work we’re doing now could be a major breakthrough in treating vision loss.” – Dr. Joyce Liao

This year we were able to donate another $100.000 (!!) to support this research. A fantastic amount that funds a full year of research by a scientist.

πŸ’™ Thank you so much for everyone's efforts. Together we will continue to build a path toward treatment.
