Approximately 1 in 5 people with ADOA have the ADOA-plus variant. In addition to eye problems, these people may also develop other neurological or physical symptoms, such as hearing loss, muscle weakness, epilepsy, severe fatigue, and many other symptoms, which can vary greatly from person to person.
To spread more knowledge about this variant of ADOA, we have developed an ADOA-plus leaflet. In this leaflet, we have gathered a lot of relevant information for patients with ADOA-plus.
