Patient/Caregiver research
*Dutch, German and Spanish below* We have been notified of a patient / caregiver research on ADOA, sponsored by a pharmaceutical company. The objectives of the research is to understand:

👁️ The experience of patients living with ADOA and their journey
👁️ How ADOA has impacted patients' and caregivers' lives and the ways experience can be improved
👁️ What patients / caregivers would be looking for in a potential new treatment for ADOA

About the research

The company is looking to speak to patients living with ADOA and caregivers of ADOA patients living in the Netherlands, Germany, UK and Spain. This will be double-blinded research where the company will not know the identity of the patients / caregivers participating, and similarly, the name of the company will not be disclosed to participants. The research will entail a ~60-75 min interview over Zoom with each patient or caregiver, to be scheduled between the dates of 7/15-7/31, and there will be a compensation for participants' time.

How to take part

If you are interested, please reach out to Natasha Wever Hedberg from the market research company Eedo AB, who will coordinate these interviews. They will ask a few simple questions to confirm eligibility for research, help with scheduling (if eligible and quota remaining) and process the payment upon completion of the interviews.

For research into life with ADOA, a pharmaceutical company is looking for people from the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom and Spain, who themselves have ADOA or are caring for someone with ADOA. With these interviews, the researchers want to find out more about:

👁️ The experience of patients living with ADOA and the process they go through
👁️ How ADOA impacts the lives of patients and their parent/caregiver and how this experience can be improved
👁️ What patients and their parents/guardians are looking for in a potential new treatment for ADOA

About the research

This double-blind study consists of an online interview via Zoom of approximately 60 to 75 minutes and will take place between July 15 and July 31. You will receive compensation for this. Your identity is not known to the company and vice versa, you will not hear which company it is.

About the Study

The interactions such as conversations with ADOA patients and their relationships in the Netherlands, Germany, Great Britain and Spain. If you act in a blinded study, both of the external subjects that identify the patient(s)/patient(s) do not know, and the name(s) of the external person(s) is not known.

The study consists of approximately 60-75 minutes of Zoom conversations with individual patients. Betreuern between 15.7. and 31.7.2024. For the time being of the Teilnehmer there is a need for relief.

Hi all: We are not aware of a studio with pacientes/cuidadores about atrophied autosómica dominant (AOAD), as a promotor is a pharmaceutical laboratory. Los objetivos de est estudio son conocer lo siguiente:  

👁️ The experience of living with AOAD and your recovery
👁️Cómo ha influido la AOAD en la vida de pacientes y cuidadores, y cómo podría mejorarse la experiencia
👁️Qué buscarían los pacientes/cuidadores en un posible nuevo tratamiento para la AOAD

Acerca de este estudio

El laboratorio desea hablar con pacientes con AOAD y con cuidadores de dichos pacientes que residan en los Países Bajos, Alemania, el Reino Unido y España. Set up a studio with a double ciego, according to the laboratory method used to identify the pacientes/cuidadores participants y, del mismo modo, el nombre del laboratorio no se velará a los participants. 

The studio is consistent with a study of the Zoom with a timetable for the duration of the period between 60 and 75 minutes, with the program starting from 15 to 31 July. Los pacientes recibirán una compensación por el tiempo dedicado.
