About the event
On Saturday, March 28, 2026, we will meet at Hotel Van der Valk Breukelen (11:00 AM - 2:30 PM) for a day for people with ADOA-plus and their loved ones: to gain knowledge and meet each other.
🎧👁️ Theme: hearing and seeing
Both vision and hearing loss can have a huge impact. We'll focus on recognition, resources, and helpful strategies for daily living—and there's plenty of opportunity to share experiences. With Dr. Jeroen Smits (clinical geneticist), Afke Hop (text interpreter), and Saskia te Hoeve (expert by experience), among others.
🇬🇧 For international participants: this is a Dutch-language event, but translation into English is available thanks to Adriaan and Chiara Melissant.
