From May 30th to June 4th, EUROMIT 2026 will take place in Angers, France. This international conference on mitochondrial diseases will bring together more than 800 physicians, researchers, and other stakeholders to connect with each other.
🧑🔬 One of the highlights of this year's conference is the involvement of Dr. Guy Lenaers, a renowned French researcher and one of the conference organizers.
Dr. Lenaers is world-renowned for his groundbreaking research on inherited mitochondrial disorders, particularly those affecting the optic nerve. In 2000, his research team identified the OPA1 gene, which plays a key role in understanding ADOA. Professor Patrick Chinnery, a globally recognized expert in mitochondrial disorders, will also deliver the keynote address.
