From June 4 to 6, Wouter and Dave attended the EUNOS Congress in Milan on behalf of the Cure ADOA Foundation! This congress provided us with a platform to bring ADOA(-plus) directly to the attention of leading European ophthalmologists and neurologists.
We spoke with many doctors and researchers and showed how we, as a foundation, can provide support worldwide. Our website is now available in eight languages, which is a fantastic tool for sharing expertise. The need for patient support is enormous internationally.
In addition to sharing our expertise, we have also taken important steps for the future. For instance, we spoke extensively with Stoke Therapeutics about our ongoing collaboration and how we, as the foundation, can optimally contribute to the initiated clinical trials.
In addition, we have gained many new medical insights, including in the field of heredity. We will tell you more about this soon in an upcoming newsletter!
